this is a gift song for Ta7talíya Michelle Nahanee, Skwxwú7mesh Matriarch and Change Maker. As a show of respect and love I wanted to take some time to record this track that is basically a meditation on my relationship with Michelle and her influence on my life. Michelle has invited me to some incredibly special events over the years, and I consider it a great honour just to be in the room.

This track was recorded at The Urban Native Youth Association, on the traditional territories of the Sḵwx̱wú7mesh (Squamish), Səl̓ílwətaʔ (Tsleil-Waututh) and xʷməθkʷəy̓əm (Musqueam) Nations. I've been working for their music department and this was a beautiful way for me to test out and get acquainted with their new recording equipment :) Thank you UNYA, and special thanks to Tashina Lewis and Keilah Lukenbill-Williams
